rebuttle because i have been so used to doing summary and all of a sudden i switched to rebutting...but i hope i can reach my goal of learning how to do them without difficulties
Rebuddle, beacuse it a whole 4 minute speech that you have to come up with based on your oponents arguments. That is probably why I don't do rebuddle I stick to summary.
My only true speech---Summary. It is not actually hard. Reading a case is just a mindless activity where you don't concentrate on content, just style. Summary you do both: content and style.
I think Rebuttal is generally the hardest speech to give when it comes to organizing your thoughts, expressing your ideas, and most importantly... providing IMPACTS!!!!
However, I think that final focus is generally the hardest speech to given when it comes to articulation and persuasion. Two good teams with very convincing arguments (or two crappy teams with no arguments) are hard for a judge to decide between. Often times this is when the final focus in most important! Showing you are calm, cool, and collected, that you know your subject and believe in your side, and that you exude confidence and conviction can greatly sway a judge (sometimes even in not-so-close rounds).
rebutle b/c i don't do it often and when i do i'm totally lost
ReplyDeletecase bcuz im more wrapped up in the thought of what the other side is going to say or is saying

ReplyDeleterebuddle b/c you have to think of it right away. and you have only heard the case.
ReplyDeleteI'll just make a general note that I tend to see:

I dont think i could choose between rebuttle or FF because they can both be hard, it can depend on the round or the topic, I kind of agree with alex
